This 42-story Art Deco New Yorker hotel is across from Madison Square Garden and Penn Station. The New Yorker is the closest major hotel to the Javits Convention Centre. Down the street is the Empire State Building and Macy's, walk a little further and you will be in New York's theatre district and Times Square.

Each of the hotel's 1000 generously proportioned guestrooms are located above the 18th floor, and many have sweeping views of New York City. The hotel facilities are second to none and dining options include the old-fashioned Tick Tock Diner, open around the clock and the La Vigna Italian restaurant with street views.

Building Work
The New Yorker is currently undergoing a renovation programme on guest rooms, public areas and exterior, scheduled to complete mid-2008.
While work is being carried out on the guest floors, methods will be employed to buffer any construction noise, so guests can enjoy their stay in the New Yorker with the minimum of disruption. The redesign of the lobby will commence from 01 Mar and will take approximately 6-8 weeks. Although every effort will be made to make it visually pleasing and no inconvenience will be made to guest floors, their will be visual and noise disruption in the lobby area.
